Overview:
As a Technical Operations Automation Manager, you will be responsible for planning solutions to automate repetitive and time-consuming processes within the revenue operations and client services teams. Your primary objectives will be to enhance data accuracy and consistency, streamline operations, and centralize best practices for automation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation into evolving processes, ensuring that all solutions align with company goals and objectives.
This will be an Individual Contributor role.
This is not a remote position. You will require to report into either our San Bruno, CA or Hoboken, NJ office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess current operational processes to determine their suitability for automation.
- Ensure continuous optimization and alignment of processes with company objectives.
- Analyze incoming requests to identify patterns that can be automated in a cost-effective manner.
- Create comprehensive reference materials and proposed solutions.
- Develop business cases and problem statements that justify automation requirements.
- Identify projects that impact our strategic KPIs (cost effectiveness. Reduce
- Present findings to stakeholders and secure buy-in for automation projects.
- Collaborate with operational stakeholders to define future state vision for automation and more efficient workflows.
- Conduct discovery sessions, create wireframes, and design effective solutions for automation projects.
- Oversee the end-to-end processes, from discovery to solution implementation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in mapping out operational processes and developing detailed reference materials.
- Extensive experience in solution design and the successful implementation of automation projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
- Proven track record in automation and process improvement within a business operations environment.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts and negotiate solutions through effective communication.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen ability to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of automation solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, business, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in engineering, product management, or a related technical operations field.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with team members.
- Demonstrated ability to actively listen and provide constructive feedback in a professional manner.
- Ability to adapt communication styles to different audiences and situations.
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to excellence.
- Independent self-starter with a proven ability to take proactive action to accomplish work goals with minimal oversight.
- A continuous improvement mindset focused on enhancing work quality and effectiveness.

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279:The annual salary range for this position is $84,000.00-$156,000.00
San Bruno, California US-08848:The annual salary range for this position is $91,000.00-$169,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, computer information systems, or related area and 3 years' experience in production support, software Support, or technical support.
