What you'll do...

This position is responsible for the management of the organizational structures within Walmart stores supporting the Sr Manager. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary.

Essential Functions

  • Design and develop team leadership structures to support stores profiles.
  • Strategically communicate and support changes with management of store team leadership structure. Support with annual strategic refreshments of the leadership structure.
  • Activate Operational parameters, characteristics, attributes and constraints.
  • Use data driven clustering to develop open hours for locations, coverage windows, minimum and maximum hour requirements.
  • Develop a standardized approach to sizing and composition of store team leadership support based on effort, magnitude and other characteristics.
  • Lead the activation, communication, change management, and deactivation of temporary staffing structure augmentations.
  • Develop and maintain the constitution of temporary augmentations to permanent structure changes.
  • Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning.
  • Partner with Home office Customer Engagement team by supporting highly technical ticket resolution by investigating root causes of problems depicted by customers.
  • Build and maintain relationships within business area; ensure execution of project plans and timelines that align to the business owner's goals and long-term strategies; provide status updates and technical requirements to internal customers at all levels.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and ensuring diversity awareness.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.

Look at work plans and makes changes, as needed, to achieve team or work group objectives. Set realistic timelines for goal accomplishment. Improve work processes and practices to increase performance and results.

Execution and Results: Manage Execution and Results : Hold associates accountable for completing work within expectations and time requirements. Plan and manages own and others' time, based on business priorities, and follows up to ensure all work requirements are completed in a timely and accurate manner. Identify and obtain the resources needed to complete projects. Encourage associates to strive for excellence, efficiency, and quality in work practices.

Judgment: Use Appropriate Judgment : Identify, review, and apply policies and procedures to make informed judgments. Identify and use facts, information, and expertise to set priorities and make informed decisions. Use data and evidence to determine the causes of problems and develop solutions to address them.

Customer/Member Centered: Focus on the Customer/Member : Review customer/member-focused data and adjusts performance to address findings. Promote and support associate efforts to exceed customer/member expectations. Inform associates on how to identify and locate resources to meet the diverse needs of customers/members.

Entry Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, industrial engineering, or relevant experience
  • 2+ years of experience in WFM/HCM/WL/WLM or other relevant platforms in Retail or Supply Chain
  • Experience with labor management, forecasting, scheduling, budgeting, payroll, and task management systems
  • Demonstrate Excel-based abilities, including data analysis and data manipulation techniques in support of translating client data into system requirements

Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years' experience in Workforce Management Solutions
  • Retail-related experience
  • Developing knowledge of change management principles and ability to create influence in implementing recommended solutions
  • Demonstrate initiative, responsibility, analytical thinking, and efficient problem-solving skills
  • Grocery retail experience

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
