Responsibilities:

• Analyze and diagnose the root cause of bugs or issues within software systems. This goes beyond simply documenting trouble tickets.
• Write and understand queries written in Structured Query Language (SQL).
• Maintain and develop J2EE applications that support manufacturing operations.
• Understand and author solutions using Java, SQL, JSP, MVC and others
• Support proposal development on Manufacturing related IT solutions.
• Support manufacturing and divisional process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Possess a hands-on IT technical background as well as an understanding of manufacturing execution and related business processes.
• Knowledge of Computer Aided Process Planning and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) especially iBaseT Solumina.
  
• General knowledge of ERP/MRP Systems.
  
• Familiarity with Oracle RDBMS.
  
• General Understanding of our plant capabilities.
  
• Qualifications sought:
  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering/ IT related fields (or equivalent) is required; additional graduate-level degree and relevant work experience a plus.
    
  • 5 to 7 years of experience.
    
  • Thrive in a flexible and ever-changing manufacturing environment supporting a variety of products and processes.
