Description: The Judge Group is seeking a Manufacturing Process Improvement Lead for a 12+ month contract opportunity in Thousand Oaks, CA

Title: Manufacturing Process Improvement Lead
Location: Thousand Oaks, CA - Full Onsite

Type: Contract

Key Experience:

• Proven background in Manufacturing Management, Cross-Functionality, and Project Management
  
• Hands-on experience with Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, or similar Continuous Improvement environments
  
• Demonstrated capability in leading projects and teams
  
• Proficiency in quickly learning and effectively using in-house software systems
  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identify and implement operational changes to improve safety, quality, and efficiency, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  
• Spearhead cost-saving initiatives across packaging processes, labor, efficiency, transportation, and storage
  
• Analyze existing systems and pinpoint improvement opportunities through process modifications
  
• Devise plans for process improvements or new process installations, encompassing equipment selection, process flow, time studies, and equipment layout
  
• Develop and maintain tracking systems for downtime reporting and trends in packaging
  
• Establish operational standards for equipment and processes
  
• Strategize for the efficient use of materials, machines, and employees
  

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering discipline from a 4-year college or university preferred
  
• Minimum of 3 years of management experience, with 5 years preferred
