Role OverviewOur Burlington site (located at 47 Middlesex Turnpike Burlington, MA) is a focused practice, providing Family Medicine and Behavioral Health services to patients of all ages. We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Medical Assistant II to support the practice Monday through Friday 8:00am- 5:30pm (shifts are staggered accordingly). As a
hybrid opportunity, the position entails onsite coverage and remote coverage. While onsite, the employee will be supporting the practice in a traditional Medical Assistant capacity:
- Ensuring efficient patient flow through the office
- Assisting during office visits (rooming, examinations, point of care testing, immunizations, procedures, and treatments as directed)
- Performing clinically appropriate tasks related to patient panel management (phone calls, test results, prescription refill, coordination of care, etc.)
- Maintaining neat, clean, and safe patient care areas
- Interacting with patients and their families in a professional, friendly manner consistent with their needs.
On the remote day, the Medical Assistant will virtually support back office clinical support operations for multiple iCare sites including but not limited to Burlington, Watertown, and Salem, NH.

- Required:
- High School diploma/GED
- Either BLS or Annual Manikin training including CPR and AED after 6 months of hire
- Strongly Preferred:
- Medical Assistant Course or diploma program or a minimum of 1 year professional experience
- National MA Certification via AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT
