We are a non-profit organization located in Schaumburg looking for help within their Member Support team. The role as a Member Support Representative is to research and connect with our members regarding questions, concerns or any issues that come up. This is a role requires strong technical and communications skills via chat, email, phone, and web ticketing. This is a contract position until the end of October.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service while helping users via phone calls, chat, and ticketing software to use our proprietary software.
- Troubleshoot, research, and make recommendations regarding the appropriate course of action as it pertains to using the software, administering a club or district or placing an order for club supplies.
- Explain step by step technical troubleshooting solutions related to our software. Provide resources and information to members in the field.
- Effectively communicate with user while documenting conversations, exchanges, or sessions into Zendesk ticketing software.
- Draft and/or produce association manuals, user guides, FAQ sheets and standard template responses to common e-mail or written correspondence from Lions members.
- Respond to member issues or questions pertaining to programs administered by the Member Service Center
- Follow procedures to enter club, officer, and member data into membership system.
- Perform a variety of data management and data entry functions, including reviewing and analyzing data for accuracy and prioritization.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of technical customer service within an office setting preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent, Associates degree preferred
- Experience with high volume of work and ability to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated aptitude for troubleshooting browser, Android or mobile software issues
- Experience using a ticketing system for supporting software or other service-related technologies.
- Experience using Aptify for data entry or troubleshooting.
- Experience using Snagit for building written communication.
- Understanding of the organization, club and district processes and business processes after training.
