Overview

This position is primarily responsible for assisting potential customers with their personal insurance needs. This position will use a consultative sales approach to educate on policy and coverage options and benefits. This position is part of Beazer's Charity Foundation.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Quotes and sells various insurance policies to potential customers via telephone and email with multiple carriers to meet sales targets.
• Uses company sales systems to manage leads, tasks and quoting within expected time frames.
• Evaluates risks to accurately quote and recommend insurance carrier and coverage based on underwriting guidelines and customer needs while meeting quality goals.
• Builds and maintains relationships with provided internal or external lead sources.

Education & Experience

• 2-4 years experience
• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License
• Familiarity with Westwood Insurance Platform preferred

• Ability to manage numerous tasks simultaneously and prioritize work
• Ability to maintain confidential information
• High attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Equally capable and adept at working independently and collaboratively
• Organization and prioritizing skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Additional Information

The California pay range for this position is from $31 to $32 per hour. The exact rate of pay will be based on work location(s), position, and experience level. In no instance will Beazer Homes pay less than the minimum wage.
