How You Will Make Contributions That Matter
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Follow and understand all of the "Standard Operating Procedures."
- Obtain a pasteurizer's license within three attempts.
- Obtain a forklift operators license.
- Pasteurize milk and milk products according to the law.
- Perform the following jobs on all shifts:
- HTST clean-up, starter maker, vat operator, belts, RMC operator, sanitation clean-up, brine operator, rework, packaging, dry cookers.
- Must be able to run all equipment efficiently.
- When not providing relief, this position may be assigned to the packaging department based upon business need.
- Responsible for maintaining a clear, orderly, and neat work area.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Must work in a safe manner and follow all safety procedures including use of safety equipment
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must possess good communication, math, statistical, and computer skills.
- Good mechanical skills and aptitude.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, and squat for several minutes at a time.
- Must be able to stand on feet for at least a two hour consecutive time period
- Must be able to lift up to eighty (80) pounds
- Must be able to enter into confined spaces
- Ability to reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear.
- Employee is required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle or feel
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and ability to adjust focus.
