Role reports to: Sr Manager, Network Standardization and Reverse Distribution

Location: Skillman, NJ (Kenvue's corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman NJ, but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2025.)

Travel : 10%

Pay: 92,000- 149,500

What you will do

As a member of the Kenvue US Distribution Operations team, the Operations Lead is responsible for identifying and implementing improvements to support business needs across the network and supporting future strategies and key projects. The scope of this role will include supporting initiatives in Warehouse Operations, Performance Management, Inventory, Trade Customization, Each Fulfillment and Reverse Logistics as necessary.

The Operations Lead is responsible for leading collaboration with 3PL and Kenvue business partners to implement strategic initiatives. The Operations Lead will drive alignment, productivity/cost management, quality and compliance activities, innovation and metrics bringing value to our partnership and improving the customer experience. Other areas may be added as determined by business needs. In addition, the role involves analyzing business data and providing actionable insights to key stakeholders to aid 3PL and leadership decision-making. Ability to implement standardized processes across the network as necessary will be a key deliverable for this role.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Ability to communicate succinct, meaningful, and actionable results to leadership with data leveraging visualization tools and strong presentation skills.

• Business leader aligning and managing network optimization changes (i.e. customer lane shifts) to efficiently move inventory through Kenvue's supply chain.

• Integrate into key operational processes, as required, to effectively understand the needs of our supply chain, identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to optimize business processes.

• Close collaboration with 3PL and Distribution team to identify, design and implement solutions that align with the broader organizational strategy supported with data driven decision-making.

• Apply Agile Project Management skills to optimally deliver results to the warehousing operations, on time and as expected.

• Develop performance management tools and visualizations in partnership with the 3PL to highlight current state performance and areas of improvement across key KPIs with a primary focus on Each Fulfilment

• Manage the intake process for the each fulfillment (EF) business by adhering to a standard process for implementing new businesses to the Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) or Cosmetics EF channels

• Maintain and enhance the playbook for new each fulfillment business integrations, decommissioning activities, etc.

• Drive integrations for last mile value added services for cost opportunities into the warehouse operation.

• Ability to understand and identify opportunities in Kenvue's omni-channel fulfillment and CPG industry standards.

• Provide leadership to any contract or part-time team members as necessary through coaching, timely feedback and providing challenging assignment to create a meaningful experience and drive results

What we are looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field

• 4 years of experience in related field

• Direct Supply Chain experience or support of Supply Chain functions is preferred.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint is required.

• Knowledge of SAP Order-to-Cash tools (ECC, APO, BW) and Warehouse Management Systems is preferred.

• Strong analytical background is required.

• Being driven by innovation, process improvements and working in a team environment, while demonstrating leadership is required.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail is required.

• Collaboration and interdependent partnering skills are required.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization is required.

• Project Management / Leadership experience is preferred.

• Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $92,000.00 to $149,500.00.This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
