Summary

The Parent Support Mentor provides education and supportive services to children and families in child protective services by providing peer-to-peer support and mentoring to biological parents to assist in the integration of family voice into children's supportive services, policies, and practices.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalentMust have a lived experience working with child protection servicesMust have reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in psychology/social work or related field A biological parent with prior lived experience with child protection servicesSpanish language fluency - oral and written
