Job Title: Pathologist Assistant

Duties & Responsibilities: As a Pathologist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of pathologists to perform a variety of tasks related to the examination and diagnosis of tissues and organs. You will assist in autopsies, surgical pathology procedures, and specimen preparation, contributing to the accurate diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

Minimum Requirements:

• Master's Degree in certified Pathologists Assistant APP program-required
• Certification or eligible for certification by American Association of Pathologist Assistants (AAPA) upon hire-required
• 1 year broad experience as a Pathologist Assistant is preferred if on the job trained
• Pathology specimen grossing of high complexity tissue samples
• 5 8's Evening shift (3p-1130p) with weekend rotation
• 2 major, 2 Minor holidays
