WHP Cardiology
Wentworth Health Partners Cardiology offers expert care in prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of heart disease to enhance your overall health. We are a full-service practice offering a full range of cardiology services including, general and interventional cardiology, heart failure, interventional procedures, electrophysiology, device implants, anticoagulation management and more.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Patient Services Representative to support our Cardiology team onsite Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm. This position will be predominately based out of our office located at 19 Old Rollinsford Road in Dover, NH 03820 and will float to our Pease office located at 67 Corporate Drive, Portsmouth, NH 03801.
Our Patient Service Representatives play an integral part in the operations of our community-based physician practices. Dedicated to administrative support, these Representatives serve as the gatekeepers of our practices and ensure that teams are delivering the highest quality experience that exceeds our patients' expectations.
We are looking for well-rounded customer service professionals who can multi-task, prioritize, and thrive in a high-volume outpatient setting! Teamwork is the foundation for successful day-to-day operations.
- Leading up to the patient visit, Patient Service Representatives assist in scheduling appointments.
- During the patient's visit, the focus is check-in, which includes greeting patients, answering all of their questions, collecting co-payments, and assisting with any pre-visit paperwork/forms.
- At the conclusion of the visit, during check-out, Patient Service Representatives are tasked with the completion of forms and scheduling follow-up appointments, tests, and/or procedures.
Other duties include fielding all incoming telephone calls and transferring appropriately, performing referral/diagnostic/lab orders processing duties, monitoring patient flow and waiting room activity, and providing general support to practice leadership, clinicians, and peers.
We do our best to keep all employees in their assigned practices and locations; however, you may also be asked to float to other departments in the WHP system when appropriate and needed during times of staffing shortages/other extenuating circumstances for cross-coverage purposes and to ensure adequate coverage and support.

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 year minimum customer service experience, medical office setting strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
- Strong computer skills preferred.
