WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Preparing and organizing our payroll execution for our weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payroll
  • Have a thorough understanding of our pay structure to ensure payroll outputs are consistent with said structure
  • Collaborate with the people and operations team to ensure our Veggies are provided with a payroll experience consistent with our core employee values
  • Working knowledge of gross and net pay, garnishments, benefit deductions, new hires, terminations, direct deposits, etc
  • Manage the daily mail distribution
  • Scanning of payroll and payroll tax documents
  • Manage employee inbound questions regarding pay via our ticketing system
  • Provide an example to the team of how to be viewed as a trusted partner to the organization

WHO YOU ARE
  • Minimum 5+ years of payroll experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office (strong Excel background)
  • Extensive Workday knowledge and database software
  • ADP SmartCompliance working knowledge helpful, but not required
  • Clear and friendly style of communication, problem-solving abilities and a customer service mindset
  • A high level of discretion and integrity when handling sensitive employee information
  • Organizational, team-oriented, multi-tasking, prioritizing and problem-solving skills
