Photolithography Assembler III at TSI

A Photolithography Assembler III works within the Photolithography and Metal Sputtering rooms on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues. Individuals at this level have the breadth of knowledge and skills that allow them to be successful working in other manufacturing areas with minimal training. These individuals may work closely with technicians, engineers, the machine shop, buyers, production controllers, and software engineers. They demonstrate a high level of computer proficiency and communication skills including written and verbal.

What Will You Do?

In order to grow and build a successful career with TSI, you will be responsible for:

  • Running the Photolithography Process, loading and unloading of darkroom and sputtering combs, baking and inspection of sensor strands and Di-Electric Sputtering machine using rough schematic, blueprint, or technical manuals.
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance and basic troubleshooting of equipment in the Photolithography and Sputtering rooms.
  • Consistently make improvements to the process to help the assigned area meet their production goals.
  • Perform complex variables testing and perform diagnostics requiring judgment to assure conformance to specifications.
  • Assist in writing work instructions and training other employees on the more complicated processes.
  • Work with highly technical systems to complete orders including computer software, robots, oscilloscopes, delicate fiber optics, and cameras.
  • Work with Engineering on enhancements to products or other changes that are implemented through Engineering Change Orders.
  • Work with buyers to create purchase orders as needed.
  • Perform multiple functions in SAP including entering data and running reports.
  • Perform daily organization and cleanup of work area.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What Do You Need?
Required
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required. Formal production related training including Lean Manufacturing and using SAP is desired.
  • Must have successfully performed at the Assembler II level.
  • Has demonstrated a strong commitment to process improvement and embracing change.
Desired
  • High technical aptitude, especially in electronics.
  • Ability to work from complicated drawings, procedures, and technical manuals.
  • Strong computer skills. Proficient in using SAP and acts as a resource for others.
  • Ability to train others on more complex procedures and assemblies.
  • Excellent math, reading, writing and reasoning skills.
