Overview

Suncoast Post Tension, Ltd., a Keller company, is an established post-tension company that has been in business for over 30 years. We supply construction related materials to builders from one of our eight facilities in the US. Suncoast manufactures and delivers both post tension cables and rebar to various residential and commercial jobsites. We are looking for a dependable team player to manage our Marysville, Washington plant.

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the entire operations of the manufacturing plant. This includes the management and coordination of daily activities to ensure high performance and production. In this position the Plant Manager will ensure the plant is running efficiently and safe, as well as ensure inventory levels and meet sales demand. The Plant Manager will verify plant and office personnel are equipped with the tools needed.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assign production schedules for all cut lines and rebar manufacturing.
  • Review production report, extrusion log report and any other reports regarding production. Ensure all information is correct and review it with the shop and yard foreman to plan the next day's goals.
  • Conduct plant walkthroughs to verify safety protocols are being followed, as well as housekeeping.
  • Assist supervisors and employees with issues or questions.
  • Review production demand with the shop foreman and the yard foreman to plan the day to ensure we meet production numbers and meet fabrication deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Communicate issues with Project Managers and department heads.
  • Handle all Operation employee discipline.
  • Manage all production inventory.
  • Safety champion for the facility, checking on employees to verify they are following safety protocols.
  • Additional tasks and projects as needed.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Civil) or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of five years of plant management experience, preferably in the manufacturing or sand/gravel operation.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of regulations and possess a strong personal commitment to safety.
