Description: Our client is currently seeking a Portal Invoicing Specialist experienced with electronic billing.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

Responsible for accurate and timely invoicing in a multi-location setup. Maintain communication with customers and coordinate with corporate or branch offices as needed. Generate billing and project reports using NetSuite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create invoices for assigned branch locations.
• Regularly communicate with branch offices (operations management, coordinators, etc.).
• Understand basic GAAP accounting principles.
• Collect necessary documentation for accurate and timely billing.
• Generate detailed invoices through NetSuite, ensuring correct billing for labor, equipment, and supplies. Monitor job progress for timely billing.
• Follow up with customers to resolve billing issues.
• Track job costs and ensure they are billed to customers appropriately.
• Produce required billing and project reports.
• Manage a high volume of customer billing.
• Collaborate with the accounting department.

Qualifications:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with accounting software like NetSuite or Salesforce (preferred).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP preferred).
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
• Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
• Willingness to travel and work remotely as needed.

Education/Experience:

• Associate's degree or higher in accounting or business administration preferred.
• 5-7 years of billing experience (preferred).
