Description: Our client, a renowned tech company, is seeking a Print Production Specialist (contract) to join their creative team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact print projects and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver outstanding marketing materials.

This fully remote opportunity is ideal for a print production specialist who thrives in a dynamic, creative environment.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Prepare and produce print-ready mechanicals based on approved designs, ensuring accuracy and quality across all projects.
• Translate digital designs from Figma into formats suitable for print, such as Adobe InDesign or Illustrator.
• Resize and adapt artwork for various formats, maintaining brand consistency across different print sizes.
• Manage multiple versions of files, including localized variations and copy tests, ensuring seamless transitions between different versions.
• Edit and optimize raster and vector graphics, working with Photoshop and Illustrator to prepare visuals for print.
• Organize and maintain working files, creating a clear structure for collaboration with other team members.
• Act as the primary point of contact for print vendors, managing relationships and project details from start to finish.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project deliverables, timelines, and expectations, facilitating communication between internal teams and vendors.
• Draft RFQs and evaluate vendor responses to ensure project requirements are met.
• Balance multiple projects simultaneously, managing both large-scale initiatives and smaller tasks with overlapping deadlines.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Comprehensive understanding of print production processes, including experience with various materials for POP displays, newsprint, packaging, and more.
• Proven experience in creating, editing, and optimizing print mechanicals using CMYK and spot colors.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), with the ability to translate designs from Figma to print-ready formats.
• Familiarity with working alongside print vendors to define and execute project deliverables.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across disciplines and with external partners.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring high-quality output.
• A passion for delivering exceptional work and attention to detail.
