Our client is seeking a dedicated Product Owner to join their dynamic team. This role is integral to the Retirement Services Platform (RSP) Technology & Transformation Inforce Annuity Operations Enablement, Agile Team. The Product Owner will play a pivotal role in defining and prioritizing work, translating complex problems into feasible solutions, and aligning stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define and articulate the vision, benefits, and roadmap for the Annuity product capability.
- Collaborate with prospective users and multiple delivery teams to translate needs into product requirements, user stories, and sprint/iteration plans.
- Ensure the product backlog is transparent, visible, and understood.
- Oversee work throughout the entire development life cycle.
- Communicate with leadership and business at all levels on work progress, roadmap updates, and risks/issues.
- Act as a customer proxy, working with the delivery team, Product Management, and other stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter with strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence without authority. They will maintain a solution-focused mindset, facilitating a "here's how we can" versus "here's why we can't" approach.

Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of Product Owner experience.
- Strong communication skills, able to engage effectively at all levels.
- Experience with external vendors.
- Preferred: 5+ years of Product Owner experience, strong leadership ability, experience with the Agile framework (SAFe, Scrum, KanBan), knowledge of Jira and/or Polarion (epics, user stories, tasks, subtasks), and in-depth knowledge of the financial services industry.
