Our Slalom Nashville office is looking to add a Leader that will work with Product capability leaders to help set strategic direction, deliver, and lead transformation efforts, contribute to sales pursuits, and focus on operational practice development.The Leader will also be engaged with large or complex engagement execution with a focus on excellent client relationships, delivery oversight and demonstrated thought leadership.
What You'll Do
Practice/Capability Development: Contribute to overall growth of practice area through a combination of core competency growth planning, talent development, and oversight of delivery work. Be a strong partner with our technology consulting team.
Business Development:Identify and manage opportunities from start to finish; understand the problem to solve, desired outcomes, quantify and articulate Slalom approach, value and impact. Sell services to both new and existing clients by evaluating client business challenges and working with the team to solution the work
Engagement Management: Be hands on to ensure delivery quality, manage engagement risk, project economics including planning and budgeting, managing accounts receivable, crafting meaningful and relevant content and artifacts, and ensuring delivery excellence, and stakeholder engagement with top management levels at the client.
Thought Leadership:Identify and build out new offerings and go-to-market strategies to meet and anticipate the future needs of our customers and evolving thinking around customer experience, product, agile and technology landscape.
Team & Individual Development:Mentor team members, support recruiting and onboarding of new employees and actively engage in career development of team members
What You'll Bring
- 7 years in management consulting with experience leading medium to large teams
- Acted as a formal people leader or mentor
- Prior experience in sales and business development
- Advanced project delivery including key aspects of program/project management managing multiple workstreams
- Experience with business strategy development and execution
- Knowledge of a broad range of areas including:
- Product strategy, management, and delivery
- Lean Portfolio Management
- Lean / Agile frameworks delivery
- Product / Agile team and organizational design
- IT strategy development, facilitation, ideation workshops, governance and effectiveness
- Strategic roadmap & execution planning
- Product funding models
- Excellent negotiation, conflict management, problem solving and decision-making skills
