Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
- Assemble mechanical components and systems according to specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to assemble parts.
- Inspect parts for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize assembly processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a mechanical assembler or similar role.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot assembly issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required
