This role is an introductory level sewing specialist in Bozeman, MT. You will have the opportunity to build the best load-bearing gear in the world for the most demanding users. This individual will work in a team environment, using a variety of techniques to produce packs and accessories that tackle the toughest challenges. Sewing experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right individual.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
• Follow quality standards.
• Work with team members to build product that meets specifications.
• Utilize supervisor, sew samples, and instructions to properly construct products.
• Minimize wasted movement in order to maximize efficiency.
• Complete all paperwork as defined by supervisor.
• Adhere to designated Production Schedule.

Continuing Education:

• Attend classes or training as required.

Environmental and Physical Requirements:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

• Typically located in an indoor area with the possibility of mild discomfort from factors such as dust, material particles, temperature extremes, loud noise, and bright lights.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision while sewing, constant looking down while sewing, color vision for identifying fabric, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus when sewing.
• Use hands, fingers and arms while reaching for and handling all fabrics and materials
• Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity move about.
• Communicate, talk, and listen with coworkers
• Occasional lifting or moving of objects up to 36 inches from floor level, and weighing up to 50 lbs.
• This is a full-time position based in Bozeman, MT.

Qualifications:

• High School Education or GED.
• Professional, respectful, and positive communication style and demeanor.
• Strong desire to be involved with a team/s and work toward a common goal.
• Ability to multitask with high attention to detail.
• Successful completion of all Introductory-level sewing skills.
