Production/Inventory Coordinator B

San Antonio, TX

Contract Position

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the movement and storage of materials to support production, flight test, and product support activities.
• Assist the production team by ensuring timely delivery of parts and tools across various locations.
• Monitor and update the status of work-in-progress using automated systems to ensure parts availability.
• Handle shipping and receiving operations, ensuring the accurate movement of materials.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory to maintain system accuracy and avoid delays.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and expedite production activities.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
• Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks, with the ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work on ladders, in confined spaces, and elevated platforms while using personal protective equipment.
• Must pass visual acuity and color perception tests.
• Ability to handle, use, and dispose of hazardous materials as required.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  • 1+ years of experience in supply chain or inventory management.
  • Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP.
  • Experience managing projects.
