Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Steel Arkansas is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Production Scheduling Engineer. The role includes, but is not limited to the following.
- Working closely with teammates across the division to help improve product flow and develop recommendations to standardize, improve or redesign processes and systems to meet production scheduling needs.
- Identify trends and recommend proactive actions to manage logistics.
- Assist with performance-reporting systems and tools to measure department and facility on-time performance
- Support facility review of material/process flows to identify opportunities for increased effectiveness, utilization, and performance.
- Ability to schedule all areas of the mill.
- Facilitate discussions between sales and scheduling team to ensure optimized product scheduling.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Manufacturing scheduling/supply chain management experience
