Job Title: IT Project Manager

Location: Remote

Job Type: 1 year contract with possible extensions

About the Role: As an IT Project Manager, you will lead and manage the overall strategy, planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects to meet business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes, while managing risks, issues, and dependencies.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage IT projects from inception to completion.
• Develop and maintain project artifacts such as charters, budgets, schedules, status reports, change management plans, and RAID logs.
• Coordinate and collaborate with IT, operations, and business units.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Monitor and track project progress, providing regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members.
• Manage project budgets and track expenses.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and implement corrective actions.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to project team members.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in an IT project management role.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related IT field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Excellent team management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development, and technology solutions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Passion for learning and growth.
• Ability to apply new skills quickly and handle ambiguity.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the financial services industry and consulting.
• Demonstrated consultative mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
