Responsibilities

Perform Machine assembly and modifications

  • Follow the direction of the Lead Project Technician to perform machine assembly and modification tasks.
  • Install new equipment.
  • Install upgrades to existing equipment.
  • Repair or replace machine components to ensure reliable machine performance.
  • Rebuild machines or machine subassemblies to ensure correct functionality.
  • Perform other project tasks as designated by Lead Project Technician.
  • Help the team achieve project goals and ensure compliance to schedule.

Serve as SME for equipment
  • Assist the team in reviewing maintenance task lists to improve the effectiveness of the maintenance process.
  • Guide technicians to perform setup tasks and machine repairs.
  • Train technicians to repair and rebuild machine components and subassemblies.

Education/Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 2 years of mechanical experience in the manufacturing industries is required.
  • 2 years hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical, pneumatic systems a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret electronic/ hydraulic drawings, schematics, and engineering blueprints to determine problem root causes and implement corrective actions is a plus.
  • Ability to read precision measuring instruments.
  • Physically capable of prolonged standing and working in awkward positions while performing maintenance.
  • Must be well-organized and can prioritize tasks.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of advanced processing and process equipment specifically around troubleshooting electrical components.
  • Able to operate computer and system interface programs and analyze production information.
  • Able to follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete required tasks; demonstrate solid work performance with a high level of attention to detail and timeliness.
  • Strong team member, train new team members as needed; able to prioritize activities.
  • Proficiency with software applications, Microsoft Office, Excel as well as specific programs of SAP, Maximo; able to create reports and document procedures.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
