Facility: Wellstar MCG Health
Position Summary: Provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to in patients and out patients. Responsible for equipment and procedures related to the support of pulmonary function lab and bronchoscopy suite. Provides Education for lab personnel, medical and respiratory care students.
Position Requirements: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization. Associate Degree in Respiratory Care or 10 plus years experience in hospital Pulmonary function lab with credential RPFT. ACLS certification required. Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS).
NBRC, Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist or PRT with RPFT within one year of hire required.
