Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Quality Assurance Manager
Position Type: Full Time (Contract)
Duration: 12 months Contract with possible extension
Locations: Wallingford, CT-Onsite
As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will:
- Responsible for the managerial direction and overall leadership of the Quality department.
- This includes supporting and executing business strategy, delivering winning solutions, developing high performance teams, and promoting the Company culture, values, and mission in working closely with project teams and procurement professionals to develop and implement planned and systematic activities to ensure the quality requirements for a product or service will be fulfilled.
- The Quality Assurance Manager will lead the department in a dynamic and profitable manner based on Company's core values of client satisfaction, commitment, dedication, integrity, safety and overall outstanding service.
- Manage Company's Corporate Quality Program of policies, standards, standard operating procedures and best practices.
- Manage the Company Quality Audit program.
- Responsible for the Company Corporate Project Execution Program.
- Responsible for Project Document Management processes and procedures including the procedure for documents issued for construction.
- Responsible for communicating and issuing Company Design Standards.
- Direct and maintain Company's Q review process. - Responsible for issuing and maintaining Company's guide specifications. Responsible for maintaining Supplier Surveillance records. - Responsible for maintaining Construction Quality Verification records.
- Responsible for Nonconformance tracking and recordkeeping.
- Achieves stated targets and standards for financial performance.
- Manages operational budget. Provide technical and industry expertise with respect to Quality Assurance programs.
- Responsible for business plan development to secure internal and external financing within established risk financial parameters.
- Provide leadership, career coaching and development.
- Present monthly financial information to leadership including expense forecasts.
- Responsible for conducting performance evaluation for selected department/direct reports.
- Provide leadership, guidance and instruction to the department.
- Support diversity initiatives.
- Complies with all policies and standards
The ideal candidate will have: - Bachelor Degree in engineering, architecture, business, construction, procurement or related degree from an accredited program and 7 years relevant consulting experience Required.
- Master Degree MBA Preferred.
- Familiarity With ISO 9001.
- To Support design Chain, Support Construction Activities.
- Expert experience in investigating, evaluating, selecting, and driving the development of products for an organization.
- Expert facilitation, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience having led and completed projects from business proposal through post-production support preferred.
- Manufacturing Construction Experience would be Preferred.
- Demonstrated success as to budget, savings and/or profit margins in completed projects.
- Filter and distil relevant information and convey business and technical concepts to a diverse client base and internal technical teams.
- Thoughtfully and positively influence, lead and manage. Excellent planning and analytical skills.
- Clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients.
- Expert knowledge of project management methodologies and tools including the use of Microsoft Project or equivalent.

ASK ME HOWPAY RANGE AND BENEFITS: Pay Range: $110-$120 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
