A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Quality Assurance Tester.
Position type: Full-time - Contract
Duration: 9 months
Location: San Antonio Texas 78215

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Looking for a highly proficient, hands-on Software QA Automation Tester/Developer to help drive our Agile Test Efforts and to keep our platform running smoothly.
• As part of the Software Engineering team SDLC (Software Dev life cycle) lead the software QA testing function to ensure products are bug-free and issues are documented, Working with the Test Lead, write test automation scripts, build test scenarios, validating software releases, and ensure that end users have a defect free product experience.
• You'll work closely with development teams, to help discover and debug issues.
• Taking complete ownership of your work and that of your team.
• Perform Test estimation & planning - Agile environment.
• Peer review test scripts, as required.
• Evaluate and test software programs to verify that they function according to user requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• This position exists to ensure the delivery of quality IT products.
• Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, Developing and leading software testing strategies.
• Performing complex workflow analysis.
• Acquiring and disseminating project information and quality status to internal and external partners.
• Establish and ensure adherence to quality assurance testing directions, standards, guidelines and methodologies.
• Identify and automate right test cases using the defined automation framework.

Minimum Knowledge and Abilities

• At least 2 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Development Test Analysis
• MUST have at least 1 year of experience working in an Agile Scrum environment methodology
• Proven ability estimating the scope and size of overall testing effort for each user story
• Expert knowledge of writing functional performance and automated unit tests
• Collaboratively and productively with the product owner and the customer to form acceptance criteria
• Skills to develop, update, and maintain testing standards and procedures, working with Basic SQL queries to do the required data analysis for testing
• 2+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance at least one platform like Cucumber BDD, Selenium web driver, Eclipse IDE, TestNG, Maven, GitHub, Rally and Jenkins
• 2+ years of script development experience utilizing BDD Cucumber, Java & Selenium WebDriver
• 2+ years of Core Java and SQL and SOAP UI tool

Must Have

• Minimum 4 years of experience in QA Automation, Software testing

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Salary Range*: $52 - $57 Per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
