Job Description
Rotating
Under direct supervision of a registered radiographer, participates in the
Imaging process by delivering care to patients and their families. Duties and responsibilities include patient care pre-, during, and post-procedure; patient positioning for imaging exams; EMR documentation; and patient safety. The radiographer graduate will utilize this time to learn the institution and practice. Until the Maryland State License as a Radiographer is acquired, the Radiographer Graduate may not dispense ionizing radiation in any form to any patient.
It is expected that the radiographer graduate successfully meets all requirements of the Departmental Orientation. It is expected that the radiographer graduate is fully eligible for, and actively pursuing ARRT(R)certification and Maryland State Licensure.

Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology is required. ARRT(R) certification and Maryland State License for Radiographers must be completed within 90 days of the date that the graduate completed the school radiologic technology program. Basic computer skills are required. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Certification in Basic Life Support required.
