This position is part of the Verification and Validation (VAV) department located in Coralville, Iowa and will be onsite. At IDT, we are one global team. We celebrate our differences, engage in healthy debate, and are inclusive. Together, we accomplish great things.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Apply knowledge of basic science and employ solid laboratory skills to execute bench experiments using a variety of molecular biology, cell biology, biochemical and general laboratory techniques as directed

• Execute on assigned wet benchwork experiments under moderate oversight

• Assist with data analysis and reporting, formulate conclusions, identify key issues, and work with others to solve problems using critical thinking skills

• Interact with and assist other members of the VAV team or other internal departments as needed to meet research objectives

• Lead or participate in the maintenance of laboratory and equipment

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Bioscience, Bioengineering, Chemistry or a related life sciences field with 2+ years hands-on wet bench relevant lab in academic or industry experience required, OR Master's degree with 1+ year of experience.

• Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office required.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Knowledge and experience in qPCR assays and NGS library preparation (preferred)

• Experience with statistical analysis (JMP, DOE, etc.)

• Knowledge of GLP, Design Control, and evaluation of products within a regulated environment (preferred)
