Meet the team:

Join our dynamic team as a Salesforce Architect/Lead Developer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Salesforce ecosystem! In this high-impact position, you'll demonstrate your deep expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and the Force.com platform to drive the architecture and development of innovative solutions. As a trusted leader, you'll collaborate closely with business leaders, collaborators, and technical teams, delivering solutions that fuel organizational success. Where you come in:

  • You serve as a trusted technology advocate for business teams, guiding them in the selection and application of Salesforce technologies and making buy vs. build decisions where applicable.
  • You lead the Salesforce architecture by designing solutions that are simple, intuitive, and enhance the customer experience, ensuring scalability and ease of use while meeting business needs.
  • You collaborate closely with internal teams, including product managers, sales operations, customer service, and business analysts, to thoroughly understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • You oversee the managed services team, ongoing projects, system configurations, user management, data integrity, and the ongoing maintenance of existing Salesforce implementations, driving standard processes in design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • You lead the implementation of Salesforce DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, to ensure efficient deployment processes and high system performance.
  • You create and maintain documentation of all architecture design and analysis work.
  • You provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, helping them grow their technical skills and knowledge of Salesforce platforms.
  • You maintain Salesforce data security and privacy standards, aligning with industry regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) and company policies, which is especially critical within the medical device industry.
  • You assist in the planning and management of resources, budgets, and timelines for Salesforce-related projects, optimizing allocation to meet business goals efficiently.
  • You stay updated on Salesforce platform enhancements and industry standard processes, incorporating them into the ongoing development and improvement of solutions.

What makes you successful:
  • You have extensive experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and the Force.com platform.
  • You are hands-on and have working knowledge of essential Salesforce tool sets like Apex, Flow Builder, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, CSS, SOQL/SOSL, and other relevant Force.com platform development tools.
  • You are experienced with service-oriented and event-driven system architectures, designing and building high-performance distributed systems on the Salesforce platform.
  • You are proficient in developing APIs (e.g., REST, SOAP, Bulk, Streaming) within the Salesforce platform and integrating with other enterprise applications using middleware and event-streaming technologies.
  • Your proficiency in Salesforce development, alignment to coding standards, and solid grasp of security guidelines are crucial to being a valuable contributor in this role.
  • You have a solid grasp of DevOps practices and can participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality and performance, while effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical partners.
  • You are knowledgeable in integrating Salesforce Einstein AI technologies and provide ongoing advice and recommendations to the business as AI technologies evolve.
  • You have experience working on iterative Agile schedules in an Agile Scrum environment.
  • You exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • You will lead and handle the managed services team to ensure seamless support, effective system maintenance, and timely issue resolution for all Salesforce applications.

Experience and Education Requirements:

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 13+ years related experience or a Master's degree and 8+ years equivalent industry experience of a PhD and 5+ years of experience.
