Baer is looking for an SAP MDG Developer for a 3-month Federal remote project.

Title: SAP MDG Developer
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 3 months
Rate: All-inclusive
Alignment: W2 or C2C (Vendors Not Permitted)

Description:

• Lead the design and development of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions, ensuring best practices for master data management.
• Develop and enhance ABAP applications specific to MDG, including the creation of custom RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows) objects.
• Work closely with SAP ERP systems (ECC or HANA) across various modules such as MM, FI, CO, SD, HCM, or PP, integrating MDG with existing processes and applications.
• Provide expertise in MDG Data Modeling, UI Modeling, Process Modeling, and Governance Processes. Implement solutions for mass processing, DRF (Data Replication Framework), DIF (Data Import Framework), and Data Quality management.
• Design and configure SAP MDG workflows and forms using Web Dynpro ABAP, Floor Plan Manager, Rule-Based Workflow, and BRF+.
• Utilize automation techniques to streamline MDG consolidation processes, improving efficiency in data governance.
• Leverage expertise in ABAP on HANA, including CDS Views, AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures), and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Implement and manage integration interfaces using IDOC, SOAP, REST, OData, and RFC for seamless communication between systems.
• Configure data replication techniques and ensure accurate data governance using MDG BADIs, BRF+, and data replication mechanisms.
• Set up and manage MDG Data Services for address and data quality management (DQM) both on-premise and in the cloud.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of ABAP development experience, with at least 5+ years specifically focused on MDG.
• Prior experience with SAP MDG and SAP ERP implementation projects, including end-to-end development and integration.
• Strong hands-on experience with MDG Forms, MDG Workflow, and MDG Data Services.
• Deep understanding of key data principles in SAP S/4HANA MDG architecture, functionality, configuration, and process governance.
• Experience with Fiori and Web Dynpro ABAP for custom UI development.
• Expertise in MDG BADIs, Classes & Methods, BRF+, Workflow configurations, and Data Replication Techniques.
• Proficient in ABAP on HANA, including CDS views and AMDP, and extensive knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming.
• Familiarity with DQM setup, both on-premise and cloud, for data quality management.
