Job: Sr. QA Automation Engineer/ SDET
Duration: 6+ months contract
Location: Onsite in Dallas, TX

Qualifications

• 8+ years of QA testing experience in both API and UI automation
• Experience developing Automation scripts in JavaScript or TypeScript Automation frameworks.
• Advanced SQL Querying skills + database testing and validations
• Hands on experience with Automation frameworks including Cypress or Playwright
• Experience in API Automation using RestAssured or Karate framework
• Define test strategy/test plan and test scripts with best test practices
• Define the overall process and deliverables across SDLC for engineering quality like templates, checklists and tools (for test management / defect / reporting/Dashboard)
• Work with the product owner and development team to define and prioritize test cases to meet sprint goals and automation goals for CI/CD pipeline.
• Provide regular status updates to QA Lead & QA Manager regarding testing progress
• Hands on experience using Java and JavaScript programming and building test scripts in Java and JavaScript based framework
• Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile development environment
• Bachelors Degree in Engineering/Equivalent experience required
