Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment Assembler (Contract Role)
Job Description
*** PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A SHORT-TERM PROJECT BASED CONTRACT POSITION THAT WILL LAST ~ 2 MONTHS, AND THAT WILL BE BASED OUT OF THE PHOENIX, AZ METRO AREA ***
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Install a manufacturing system, which is shipped in 3 different modules in metal frames. Transport to manufacturing floor to connect modules together in a defined location (pedestal), place in position, unwrap, perform preassembly, which includes some mechanic subsystems, and mount different accessories to those modules. This includes connecting piping and electrical wiring to the modules to prepare for startup.

Perform a wide variety of electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or subassemblies.

Determine and/or follow methods and sequence of operations in functions such as performing wiring, component installation, kit assembly, on assembly units.

Make setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.

Ensure that all work is completed in a timely, safe, and efficient manner.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Report any quality or safety issues to management immediately.

Follow all company policies and procedures.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in electronic / mechanical assembly.

Knowledge of basic assembly techniques.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Familiarity with hand and power tools.

Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
