Caterpillar's Motor Grader Product Group is hiring a Senior Enabled Parts & Service Specialist for Aftermarket Technology within their Lifecycle group. Role Summary: As a Senior Enabled Parts & Services Specialist for Aftermarket Technology, you will bring your sales expertise to grow Motor Grader parts and service business by owning technology upgrades. This role will create and execute dealer strategies to connect aftermarket customers in both Construction and Mining with value added predictive, operator assistance, and safety products.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans for improvement of technology upgrade sales to enable revenue growth of assigned products, coordinate the implementation of plans.
  • Create customer segmentation for motor grader technology upgrade products based on customer value. Engage business partners in validating the targeted customer segments.
  • Lead and support projects related to growing predictive, operator assistive, and safety focused parts and service business working closely with internal partners
  • Support Dealer and/or customer requests related to issues, product knowledge, or material for Motor Grader technology aftermarket products.
  • Partner with Integrated Component Solutions condition monitoring teams, Digital Product software enabled application teams, PSLD kitting teams, construction and mining sales execution teams, marketing groups, and Motor Grader teams to align and execute strategies.
  • Gather and provide voice of customer and voice of dealer to the motor grader product group and internal partners.
  • Report out on the Motor Grader technology enabled parts results vs business plan to maximize OPACC/profit.
What You Have:
  • Progressive job-related experience in digital, parts and service, dealer facing roles, or aftermarket sales/marketing roles
  • Effective communications and influencing / negotiation skills - Working knowledge: outstanding verbal and written communications skill to effectively engage diverse audiences and ability to successfully influence others and achieve goals across the Caterpillar and Dealer organizations.
  • Customer focus skills - Working knowledge: ability to link organizational objectives to customer needs and expectations.
  • Project management skills - Working knowledge: ability to collaborate with multiple parties successfully and manage multiple projects
  • Problem solving skills - Working knowledge: ability to use fact-finding techniques to systematically identify problem, evaluate alternatives, and bring to resolution.
  • Strategic thinking - Working knowledge: ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
  • A university degree preferably in Engineering or Business
  • Previous experience involving ongoing collaboration with dealers and/or customers including sales industry or distribution field assignment
  • Experience leading projects or initiatives in a multinational organization in B2B
  • Digital fleet management or related industry knowledge specifically customer services needs and what customers value in services
  • Go-to-market experience
  • Relationship management skills
Additional Details:
  • Work location: Peoria, IL
  • Travel up to 30%
  • Caterpillar operates in a hybrid work model, requiring 3 days of onsite work each week

Summary Pay Range:
$126,000.00 - $189,000.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
