Our presence in the Midwest is growing, and we are looking for outstanding candidates to grow with us in this region! Our Environmental business is looking for a Senior Environmental Compliance Specialist to support and grow GHD's environmental sector presence in our Omaha, Nebraska office.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

  • Engage and collaborate with Market Leaders, Business Group Leaders, and Key Client teams to support business development, client expansion and proposal development
  • Identify and represent GHD at seminars, conferences, and other events
  • Participate in and represent GHD in relevant industry groups and associations
  • Partner with existing GHD clients to develop innovative solutions
  • Review and prepare technical proposals
  • Lead and assist project teams in the planning, design, and execution environmental compliance, contamination assessment, and/or remedial projects
  • Review and prepare technical reports
  • Mentor, supervise, and grow a team of junior environmental professionals
What you will bring to the team:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related technical field
  • 5+ years of environmental compliance experience
  • Technical expertise in environmental compliance, contamination assessment and remediation, or related area
  • Strong client relationships and development skills
