The Senior Manager, Translation (CSD CoE) will be integral to Walmart's drive to be a more inclusive company, by translating a myriad of content from English to French Creole for Walmart U.S. Supply Chain. Content could range from leadership messages to specific tasks and processes for budlings. Join us, as we begin the journey to build this muscle to better support our associates in the US!
You must be a native fluent speaker of French Creole.
You'll make an impact by:
- Reviewing and finalizing translation of documents sent by the different departments located in the Bentonville Home Office and related sources. Work must meet the highest standards of accuracy, consistency and style while adhering to Walmart's quality levels.
- Proofread, edit, and revise the work of other translators if required.
- Work on the internal terminology used by the Translation Department and create a common lexicon to ensure consistency.
- Maintain an adequate speed (sense of urgency) and volume of output, taking into account the difficulty of the text and the specified deadline.
- Work on specific projects, new requests and ongoing (operational) requests. Interpret videos and other spoken-word media as needed for Language-speaking associates.
- Carry out research and work closely with requesters on any questions related to their project. Get feedback to improve the quality of the translation/interpretation.
- Develop a good understanding of the Walmart business and Retail Business overall to support with the messaging.
Preferred Qualifications:
- You have 3+ years of translating experience from English to French Creole.
- You're experienced in Supply Chain operations.
- You're comfortable working directly with speech writers for leadership for timely/near real-time translations activities.
- You have experience with SDL WorldServer, or applicable translation tools.
- You're organized, disciplined, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor of Art degree specialized in translation.
Location:- This role will be based in a Supply Chain facility, where French Creole is represented. Travel to Bentonville and other locations will be required.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
