As a Senior Product Development and Sourcing Manager, you'll take the reins on Member's Mark development within the Dry Grocery category, driving innovation and maintaining a laser focus on quality to fuel profitable growth. We're looking for someone with expertise in Dry Grocery sourcing to bring a fresh perspective and creativity to our offerings, ensuring we meet the evolving needs of our members while maintaining excellence in every product

Our Private Brand, Member's Mark at Sam's Club, is a cornerstone of why our members join and renew their memberships. As the Senior Manager of Product Development & Sourcing, you'll be the driving force behind product development decisions for Member's Mark in the Dry Grocery category. You will play a critical role in growing sales, enhancing product quality, and improving the customer experience both online and in-store, all with the goal of increasing customer loyalty and conversion.

You'll work closely with cross-functional teams including Merchants, Sourcing, Quality, and Brand teams to bring high-quality, innovative products to market that meet our members' needs and elevate the Member's Mark brand.

  • You have Product Development experience in the Dry Grocery category (oils, beans, rice, spices, canned proteins, etc.).
  • You embody a customer-centric mindset in both strategy and execution.

  • You enjoy diving deep into data analysis to uncover insights and inform decision-making.
  • You're passionate about solving complex challenges and finding innovative solutions.

  • You thrive in a test-and-learn environment, with an agile approach to product development and improvement.
  • You prioritize Regenerative and Sustainable Product Development practices, keeping sustainability at the forefront of innovation.

You'll make an impact by...
  • Collaborating with suppliers and the Quality team to ensure accurate product specifications and resolving member feedback effectively.
  • Overseeing the development of Member's Mark products, coordinating with internal teams like Brand Management, Quality, Sourcing, and Merchants.
  • Building and maintaining high-visibility supplier relationships to secure best-in-class products.
  • Crafting and executing strategic objectives that drive growth and enhance the Member's Mark brand through innovative product offerings within the Dry Grocery category.
  • Continuously identifying opportunities for business improvements, innovation, and enhanced customer satisfaction.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field and 4 years experience in merchandising, replenishment, logistics or related field OR 6 years
