Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is a specialized type of pharmacy that focuses on processing and dispensing of prescriptions for multiple retail pharmacy locations within a region. Unlike a traditional pharmacy, Central Fill is full of automation allowing prescriptions to be filled fast and accurately. But the best part of Central Fill pharmacy is taking care of our patients in the community. While we are not patient facing, our job provides retail pharmacies the ability to spend much deserved time providing clinical services and education to the communities they serve.
We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Lead Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) to join our team as a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist at Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy in Frederick, MD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance processes to ensure consistent customer service delivery, improving quality control processes, and providing expert advice and guidance to stakeholders.
This is a full-time, onsite position. Must be able to cover an 8 hour shift within a 8am - 6pm window.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Audits and Feedback: Develop and execute quality audits to assess customer service delivery and identify areas for improvement. Provide constructive feedback to agents and managers on successes and opportunities for improvement.
- Quality Reporting and Analysis: Create and evaluate quality reports to measure key performance indicators and identify trends. Recommend changes to improve quality control processes and customer satisfaction.
- Process Improvement: Identify process errors and determine solutions to improve quality control and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop action plans and implement solutions.
- Training and Development: Identify training opportunities and provide recommendations to stakeholders. Update training documentation and ensure solutions are implemented.
- Quality Assurance Processes: Evaluate and improve quality review processes, develop and drive process changes, and assess the effectiveness of quality assurance programs.
- Business Solutions and Relationship Building: Build relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders to identify business needs and develop and implement necessary processes and practices. Monitor progress and results, and adapt to changing demands and responsibilities.
- Compliance and Ethics: Model compliance with company policies and procedures and support company standards of ethics and integrity. Incorporate these into the development and implementation of business plans and provide expert advice and guidance to others.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or ASHP).Pharmacy Technician registration (from board of pharmacy in applicable state).
- Data Analysis Experience
- Intermediate to Expert Excel Knowledge
- QA Certification (a plus)

The hourly wage range for this position is $15.63-$26.68*
*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
