RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a Fortune 100 Telecommunications client who is seeking a Senior Software Developer. This person will be responsible for building new features and maintaining software functionality for an internal .NET application (frontend, backend and SQL). This will be full stack development in an agile environment. There is also opportunity to mentor other developers as a senior member of the team.The Senior Software Developer will participate in:- Standups
- Feature Design
- Development
- Unit Testing
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong development experience
- Advanced knowledge of SQL Server, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, SSRS, SSIS
- Ability to take ownership and make technical decisions on software development projects
- Relevant experience with CI/CD concepts, tools, and implementation
- Strong understanding of application architecture including load balancing, ports, security, LDAP, IIS, etc.
- Ability to analyze and understand existing enterprise applications and databases
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be self-directed, highly organized, and adaptable with the ability to effectively multi-task as needed
- JavaScript frameworks: Angular or Vue experience is nice to have
- C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Framework, Entity Framework, Git
- HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Knockout, JSON, Bootstrap, REST API
- Micro services, SOAP web services, XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
