Compensation for this position is set at $31/hour.

This person will need to work hybrid from our Seattle, WA office location three days per week.
Accolade's internship program runs June 9th-August 15th, 2025.

Role overview

The SEO intern will be critical in supporting both Accolade and PlushCare.com by driving organic traffic, improving brand visibility, and enhancing the user experience across both platforms. This position will directly contribute to achieving corporate objectives of customer acquisition, brand growth, and improved online engagement. In addition to these responsibilities, the SEO intern will have the opportunity to learn a wide range of SEO skills, from technical optimization to content strategy, that will help evolve their career in digital marketing. Working across both Accolade and PlushCare.com will provide valuable, hands-on experience in the healthcare and SEO sectors, positioning the intern for future career growth in the field of search engine optimization and digital marketing.

A day in the life...

• Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for content optimization.
  

• Support the creation of SEO-friendly content by working with content teams to ensure best practices are followed.
  

• Help with technical SEO tasks, such as optimizing meta tags, fixing broken links, and improving page load times.
  

• Track and analyze SEO performance metrics and provide reports to stakeholders.
  

What we are looking for (requirements)

• Has or is working towards a Bachelors degree in Marketing, Computer Science or Sales.
  

• Ability to come in person to our Seattle office at least 3 times a week.
  

• Basic Understanding of SEO Principles: The intern should have foundational knowledge of search engine optimization, including on-page SEO, keyword research, and content optimization. Familiarity with SEO tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Moz is a plus.
  

• Strong Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze data, identify trends, and interpret metrics is crucial for measuring SEO performance. The intern should be comfortable working with data to support decision-making and track the success of SEO strategies.
  

• Excellent Communication and Writing Skills: The intern should be able to write clearly and effectively, as they will assist in content optimization and may collaborate with content creators. Strong written communication is also important for crafting meta descriptions, page titles, and reporting SEO findings.
  

• Attention to Detail and Organizational Skills: SEO involves meticulous work, from identifying technical issues to optimizing content. The intern should have a strong eye for detail and be highly organized to manage tasks such as monitoring changes, auditing pages, and ensuring accuracy in all SEO efforts.
