Job Summary

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SharePoint / Web Administrator to join our dynamic team.

You will enhance our digital environment by developing and maintaining documentation for system configurations, business processes, and SOPs for all personnel. This includes creating and updating user guides and technical documentation.

Your key responsibilities will be optimizing IMIT support services and improving business processes using DHA Enterprise Services like the Global Service Center, Microsoft Power Platform, and SharePoint. You will provide consulting services to streamline IM/IT support and automate processes with Microsoft 365 tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint Online, and Teams. Ensuring compliance with cybersecurity requirements, you will support the Information Assurance Manager in maintaining Group Policy and Active Directory. Additionally, you will act as Tier III helpdesk support, troubleshooting technical issues, and working with external helpdesk entities to resolve problems.

Job Requirements:

Skills / Experience Required

Certifications: Meet requirements per DoD Manual 8140.03.

• 5+ years in web administration/development (JavaScript, HTML/HTML5, CSS, UI/UX)
• 3+ years in SharePoint administration/content management
• 2+ years in customer support
• Support planning, development, implementation, integration, administration, and maintenance of SharePoint site
• Ensure in-depth knowledge of web technologies (SharePoint 2016/2019/Online, JavaScript, HTML/HTML5, CSS, UI/UX).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform
• Create Section 508-compliant digital products/services
• Ensure secure coding standards and mitigate vulnerabilities in SharePoint
• Collaborate with personnel to analyze requirements and develop project plans for web-based solutions

Education / Certifications

• Possess a CompTIA Security+ Certification upon hire IAW DoDD 8140.01
• No Degree Required

Security Clearance

Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and that may include lifting to thirty pounds, as necessary.
