JOB DESCRIPTION

Overview:

This position is on-prem based, located at our Dallas Fort Worth operations. The individual will support the Dallas warehouse and other users via remote support, with periodic travel to additional sites. Daily access to a vehicle is required. As our business operates 24/7, availability on a 24/7 basis may be necessary at times, including some weekend work. Familiarity with warehouse environments and full working knowledge of RF Handheld & truck-mounted mobile computers. The role involves providing local and remote support for network infrastructure, basic file server administration, end-user hardware and software desktop support, Wi-Fi, audio and video conferencing. The ideal candidate will have an energetic and positive demeanor, welcome challenges, and seek opportunities to grow and learn. The ability to work independently and prioritize multiple IT incidents is crucial.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary IT partner for business teams to consult on field technology needs and solutions.
  • Implement local and remote desktops and laptops, including new hardware and software installation, network software configuration, and upgrades.
  • Provide technical assistance to users utilizing their comprehensive troubleshooting skills, enabling them to diagnose and resolve issues spanning from desktop hardware and software to backend network connections.
  • Perform routine maintenance on computer systems, including updates, patches, and backups to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Self-manage time and meet deadlines.
  • Maintain current inventory of computer assets, including tracking additions, relocations, and deletions.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures to ensure continuity and support for future troubleshooting and upgrades.


QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, technical school training, or related work experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience with a broad base of technologies, demonstrating progressive levels of responsibility.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Windows operating systems (Win 10/11)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with team members, clients, and other areas of the IT environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong decision-making skills, and sound judgment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Customer service-focused, with the ability to prioritize workflow and support multiple locations remotely.
  • Ability to search out and implement solutions to unfamiliar problems.
  • Fluent in English, speaking and written
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • IT Certifications: CompTIA Network+, A+, Microsoft 365 Certified
  • Advanced knowledge of Networking principles, troubleshooting across all components of Network (Apps, Endpoints, Wireless, Switches, Firewall, Network Peripherals & Accessories, Data circuits & Cabling, VLANs, Routing, etc)
  • Continuous monitoring & maintenance.
  • Ability to resolve problems with unknown systems, hardware, or software.
  • Commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
  • Respect, integrity, innovation, and a strong customer focus.
  • Knowledge of Security Principles, Policies & Tools for Endpoints & EUC Support
The typical starting salary range for this position is: $74,760 - $80,000.

The actual salary offer will take into account multiple factors including skills, experience, education and location. Please note that the salary details listed in role postings reflect the base salary only, not total compensation, which includes bonus and benefits.
