Our client is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst (Data) in Celebration FL \ Hybrid.
Role Description
Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear, concise technical requirements. Translates high-level business requirements into functional specifications and manage changes to such.
• Analysis & Documentation: Conduct detailed analysis of business processes and workflows. Document business requirements, functional specifications, and use cases. Manage backlog for multiple products. Facilitate requirement/defect updates and work sessions with business and technology partners.
• Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Provide actionable insights in terms of fixes and enhancements.
• Solution Design: Work with IT and development teams to design and validate solutions that meet business needs and align with technical capabilities.
• Testing & Validation: Support QA and User acceptance testing (UAT), validating outcomes, and ensuring that the final product meets business requirements.
• Project Management Support: Assist in planning releases to production. Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery and prod validation.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve business processes and technology solutions. Recommend enhancements based on industry best practices
Skills & Requirements
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Experience in supporting project management activities, including planning, execution, and delivery.
• Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work either independently or closely with others as the needs of the project dictates.
• Adaptable working in a fast-past environment with constantly changing priorities and requirements.
• Ability to facilitate/manage multiple priorities
• Practical experience translating business processes into use cases, user stories
• Proficient with Jira and other agile/collaboration tools
