As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing data solutions on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. Your responsibilities will include creating and maintaining data pipelines, data storage solutions, data processing, and data integration to enable data-driven decision-making within the organization.

Skillset

• Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and transformation in Azure.
• Work collaboratively with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to understand data requirements and create effective data workflows.
• Create and manage data storage solutions, including Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Blob Storage1.
• Develop and implement data integration processes (extract, transform, load) using tools like Azure Data Factory.
• Ensure efficient data cleaning, conversion, and loading from various sources into data warehouses or data lakes.
• Utilize big data technologies such as Azure Databricks and Apache Spark to handle and analyze large volumes of data.
• Create data processing workflows and pipelines to support data analytics, machine learning, and other data-driven applications1.
• Support the company mission to democratize data and support other parts of the organization in providing our clients with data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks in a production environment
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Azure technologies.
• Strong understanding of data management, storage, and integration principles.
• Familiarity with big data tools and frameworks.
• Ability to adapt and learn new technologies based on business requirements.
