SUMMARY

This position is responsible for managing an assigned portfolio of accounts and is responsible for building strong client relationships, developing account management strategies, coordinating with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet client's needs, and identifying opportunities to grow accounts.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

* Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
* Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
* Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
* Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
* Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
* Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
* Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
* Prepare reports on account status.
* Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within the territory.
* Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
* Contributes to team effort in a collaborative and supportive manner.

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

* High school diploma or GED.
* Associate degree or two (2) years' work experience in a specific area/field.
* Two (2) years of experience managing large account portfolios.
* Knowledge of automation tools, such as Esker, Innowera, and SAP mass tools preferred.
* Experience in the aerospace, military, and defense industry, or cable assembly business preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

* Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
* Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
* Bilingual preferred.

JOB SKILLS

* Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
* Knowledge of ERP systems, SAP preferred.
* Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
* Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills including active listening.
* Excellent phone etiquette.
* Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
* Understanding of sales performance metrics.
* Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
* Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
* Excellent negotiation skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to be stationary for prolonged periods working on a computer. The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty (20) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounter while performing the essential functions of this job. Work is performed in a normal office environment with minimal physical risks involved. The noise level in the work environment is low to moderate.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS

* ASTM F-2412-2005, ANSI Z41-1999, or ANSI Z41-1991 rated safety toe shoes in specific areas.
* Clear ANSI Z87.1 safety-rated glasses in specific areas.
* Hearing protection, in specific locations.
* Ability to compile with JSA in specific areas.
