Location: North Charleston, SC
Salary: $132,000.00 USD Annually - $153,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Sr. Project Manager - Expansion Projects

As a Project Manager for expansion initiatives at our cutting-edge device manufacturing facility in North Charleston, SC, you'll collaborate closely with the Engineering and Facilities teams. This role offers the opportunity to grow into a future leadership position within these functions as the site expands.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead project planning and support the Project Team in developing the construction schedule.
• Manage tasks and stakeholders to meet critical schedule milestones, including design, procurement, construction, startup, commissioning, punch-listing, and closeout.
• Ensure project completion aligns with desired schedule, cost, and quality.
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors during various phases.
• Develop, assess, and issue subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Administer construction contracts and obtain necessary permits and licenses.
• Engage with the operations team to review plans, specifications, and project requirements.
• Review technical specifications and designs to ensure state-of-the-art solutions.
• Implement effective on-site quality control and documented acceptance processes during construction.
• Cultivate strong relationships with architects, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Handle other assigned responsibilities.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in Construction Project Management, emphasizing Design-Build and Industrial/Manufacturing projects.
• Experience working in the Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, or Biotech space is preferred
• Experience in Medium to Large Scale Manufacturing, Injection Molding, Highly Automated facilities, and logistics systems.
• Strong technical background (MEP, structural, code).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
• Detail-oriented and self-driven.
