The Senior Test Systems Engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and tracking progress on design validation plans (DVP&R) for components, subsystems and complete products. By establishing clear criteria for product acceptance, the Senior Test Systems Engineer improves the integrity and speed of testing processes. In addition to DVP&R responsibilities, the Senior Test System Engineer supports creation of test cases, executes and directs others to execute tests, writes summary reports and makes presentations.

What You'll Be Doing
- Research and introduce new test methods, applications of test equipment and test software, and techniques to improve test results.
- Deliver product testing innovations that increase test effectiveness.
- Reference and develop standards for product, system, and component validation.
- Promote adoption of procedural standards uniformly and effectively across Engineering.
- Record and document testing results in a timely manner and review findings with Development Engineers and other Test Engineers.
- Direct development of complex test cases by other Test Engineers. Test cases commonly involve hardware and software systems working in coordination.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety policies.
- Operate and tune gas and electric appliances in support of testing.
- Create, tend and report sophisticated tests. Reports results to with suggestions and insights. Execute tests on products/systems.
- Assemble, install and use Henny Penny products.
- Understand blower, ignitor, combustion parameters of gas ignition fryers.
- Understand compliance requirements pertaining to internal Henny Penny and external agency tests.
- Produce prioritized and sequenced test plans in support of cost/effort estimating and project scheduling.
- Use Henny Penny warranty reports to understand frequency of component/system failures and apply learnings during test plan development.
- Consistently models the corporate values and professional behaviors.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Discipline
- 7+ year's experience in a design or test environment preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment to achieve results
- Advanced knowledge in computer skills such as Office and Outlook
- Advanced knowledge working with electrical and mechanical lab measurement equipment
- Advanced knowledge of electromechanical equipment
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
- Detail-oriented and strong creativity skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to travel and work at customer locations (sometimes on short notice)
