The James Clinical Call Center Triage RN is responsible to be the primary responder to manage telephone calls within the defined scope of practice as established by the Ohio Board of Registered Nursing for established James patients. The James Clinical Call Center Triage RN is responsible to complete an initial call assessment and then triage the call based on the assessment. The James Clinical Call Center Triage RN uses established triage algorithms to guide the assessment and interventions that need to be taken. The James Clinical Call Center Triage Nurse is responsible to document the assessment and management of the call in into the organizational electronic medical record. The nurse will be responsible to follow up and assist in resolving post-discharge or post-procedure calls that require additional intervention after initial post-discharge/post-procedure call completed. They will also be the clinical resource for James scheduling staff for referral based needs. The James Clinical Call Center Triage RN also supports calls to the Cancer Bridge Line which is a cancer information service to employees of identified business organizations who have contracted for this cancer information service.
Position Summary
James Clinical Call Center Triage Nurse is a registered nurse that is trained to be the first responder to manage calls from patients, caregivers and others to assess and manage both symptom and non- symptom related calls for established James patients.

Weekend requirement of 12hrs, 8am-8pm
