Strategy and Analysis Manager

Where you'll work: You will have the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule (3 days in office and 2 days WFH / remote. This position can be located at our NA business headquarters in Lithia, FL or our SA business headquarters in São Paulo Brazil. Hybrid with three dedicated office days of Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday with the opportunity to work from home Wednesday and Friday. You will also be eligible to work a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.

As our strategy and analysis manager, you will develop and execute the strategy for the enterprise operations team. In this role you will collaborate with the Enterprise Ops Leadership Team to develop their strategy, vet alternatives, create a strategic roadmap, and provide an outside-in, forward-looking perspective on the market and our business. You will partner with the Corporate Strategy team on strategy assessments, evaluation of new business expansions/acquisitions, and new market entries. Additionally, you will design and execute strategy processes that engage dozens of internal and external stakeholders across our global business to ensure the effective formation and execution of the strategy. This will also serve to grow the strategic capabilities of the business and its leadership teams. You will thrive in this role if you have the demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate ideas into actionable plans.

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders from corporate teams to front line employees to create actionable strategic plans that improve business performance and increase enterprise value.
  • Conduct strategic analysis to develop and refine the Operations Team strategy.
  • Ensure the strategy is codified in clear priorities, objectives, and metrics.
  • Lead, facilitate, and participate in strategy assessments, evaluation of new business expansions/acquisitions, and new market entries alongside the Corporate Strategy team.
  • Lead the strategy team to attract and develop top talent and improve the strategic thinking capabilities of the organization.
  • Engage people across the business both in second roles and in short-term assignments to broaden their strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Work with public affairs and leadership to support internal and external communications and change management of the strategy from the Board of directors to the front-line workforce.

What you'll need:
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, business, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience managing strategy at a similar organizational level
  • 10+ years' overall experience
  • Strategy process development and ongoing management
  • Experience leading diverse team through direct oversight and through influence
  • Inclusive leader capable of creating an engaging work environment
  • In-depth understanding of the mining, ag chemicals, or other similar industries.
  • Solid knowledge of market analysis techniques and tools.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and strategic planning methodologies.
  • Adaptability to changing market conditions and business priorities.
  • Problem-solving skills to address complex challenges.
  • Leadership and influence to inspire and guide teams toward strategic objectives.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Business acumen, financial modeling and analysis capabilities
  • Scenario planning & analysis
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
  • Project management skills to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Cross-functional team leadership and collaboration.
  • Intermediate/advanced MS Office suite
  • Advanced English
